It’s been a week, peeps. Work has required a lot from me mentally, I’ve been designing ball gowns and ordering fabric, and then there is convincing the Muse to translate what’s in my head into words.
Writing Mayhem
This week I’ve edited and uploaded the next episodes for Dioltas and Cyra on Radish and written most of the next chapter in Cyra.
I was hoping to get some dedicated time to get words on the page for Edge Gelus, but that didn’t happen, which is starting to impact my schedule for 2023 already. I’m still hoping to finish that all by the end of February, so I’m not freaking out about it yet.
The muse also showed me a pivotal scene for one of my other WIPs this week, so I feel like the creative juices are starting to flow again. Once I get some time off work, I’m crossing my fingers for a flood of creativity.
I am managing to keep on top of my editing, at least. So editing is on track with Masked. I’m setting a tentative release date of June 22 for that, but I won’t set up the pre-order until I have Wraith and Numinous out of the gate and Edge Gelus drafted, just in case I need to rearrange my schedule.
Other Mischief
I have a few signing commitments this year, which will be a ball of fun.
First up, next month, I have A Romantic Rendezvous in Sydney. You can still get tickets. There are some great authors signing this year, so come meet us if you are in the area.

Each signing event will have two sessions – 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm.
The room will be closed for a lunch break from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm.
Ticket prices
General admission – $40 ($35 for ARRA members) General admission allows entry throughout the day.
VIP tickets – $85 ($75 for ARRA members) VIP ticket includes general admission plus a goodie bag and souvenir booklet. (You can use the souvenir booklet to collect a signature from each author at the event and enter our Signature Hunter competition.)
There are also social events which allow you to hangout with the authors.
Author talk – Brisbane only – $0
Happy hour – Sydney and Perth – $60
High tea – Melbourne only – $90
All tickets will include a 50c booking fee.
Reading Mayhem
Zilch! I am ashamed to say I’ve not read any books this last week. Well, not from other authors. I have been rereading some of my WIPs to help get the Muse back in the spirit.

Masen and Alana Jade are behind this wonderful new addition to bookish love.
