Tired, but Grateful for the love and Support.

Last weekend was the amazing Newcastle Book Boyfriend Expo. A wonderful amount of great authors all descended on Newcastle City Hall and our wonderful readers followed. It was quite a full on day, but I had a wonderful time seeing fans of my work and chatting with them, and meeting new potential readers. It’s my favourite part of these author event, meeting the readers.

I even found a few minutes here and there to catch up with some other wonderful authors who’s stories I love. It was a great event, and if you wished you could have attended, don’t worry, there looks like there will be another in 2026.

Of course, I came home from that event and had to jump straight back into planning for the next signing for June as well as my day job and trying to get Cyra ready for publication. So, this weekend, I’m a bit buggered. It was a struggle to get out of bed today.

It hasn’t been a productive fortnight of writing due to all the work the otherside of being an author has taken. Administration work is surely the design of the devil to make our life more difficult, but until I can afford to hire a PA to do it all for me, I’ll just have to endure.

Other Mischief

My next author event is Once Upon a Fairtytale, at Graystanes, NSW. This event has already sold out, so if you want to attend you’ll need to stalk the Ticket Resale post on the facebook site. I sold out of Succumb at NBBE and have quite a few titles with only a limited number of Special Edition Copies left. So if you are coming to OUFA, it is advisable to preorder to ensure you get a copy of the book you’re after.

With the Cyra release just around the corner, one of my focuses was getting the eBooks uploaded, and the Special print Editions ordered for OUFA. It will be a limited run at this stage, so if you want to own your own copy of Praldia and Cyra, grab them while you can.

Speaking of Cyra, I finally can reveal the cover.
